Editorial Policy

Interdisciplinary Educational Technology strives to make quick and fair decisions. We consider editorial independence to be crucial to our mission of publishing high-quality scientific articles. The editors have complete control over selecting articles published in the journal. With the exception of editorials, all published articles are subject to rigorous peer review.

All submitted manuscripts must meet the following requirements:

  • The manuscript must be relevant to the aims and scope of the journal.
  • The manuscript must be the author’s original work.
  • The manuscript must be prepared according to the ethical principles of publication and author guidelines.
  • The manuscript must make effective use of the English language.
  • The Editorial Board and Editor-in-Chief will review all submitted manuscripts to ensure they meet the above requirements. At this point, the manuscript may be returned to the authors with a request for corrections or rejected without further review.

If a manuscript passes the initial evaluation, it will be assigned to an academic section editor overseeing the rest of the editorial process. Section editors are selected based on their knowledge of the submission topic. The section editor invites external reviewers to assess the originality and quality of the submission. All our reviewers should adhere to our reviewer guidelines. The Section Editor will decide to accept the paper based on the opinions of at least two reviewers. In case of a conflict of interest, deputy section editors or expert reviewers must be appointed. Regarding special issues, guest editors assume editorial responsibility for the articles.

Authors dissatisfied with the editorial process or the outcome may send a detailed description of their complaints or appeals to editor@intedutechnology.com.

Following COPE’s flow charts and guidelines, all complaints and appeals will be thoroughly investigated by the editors.
