Peer Review Policy

Interdisciplinary Educational Technology employs a double-blind peer review methodology. The identities of both the author and the reviewer remain confidential throughout the review process. The authors anonymize the primary text of the submitted manuscript to protect their identity. Furthermore, authors are required to anonymize their work in both the references and in-text citations. After a manuscript has undergone preliminary editorial evaluation, section editors designate reviewers to evaluate its originality and quality. Peer reviews guarantee the utmost quality of scientific research by offering constructive critiques to authors.

Furthermore, peer reviews assist editors in determining the appropriateness of an article for publication in the journal. At Interdisciplinary Educational Technology, we have established guidelines that all reviewers must follow. To guarantee an equitable review process, each manuscript undergoes assessment by at least two reviewers before the editors decide.

All editors, authors, and reviewers must adhere to the guidelines of Interdisciplinary Educational Technology to maintain ethical standards throughout the review process. A reviewer with conflicts of interest arising from financial, intellectual, personal, or competitive relationships that may impair their professional judgment and the impartiality of the review must inform the editors.

In this instance, they must notify the editors and reject the invitation. Furthermore, reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript's content and submit their reports promptly and in a structured manner. The initial phase of double-blind peer reviews typically requires one to six months. Authors should anticipate an extended turnaround time if further revisions are necessary.
